NEW YORK CITY - Piers Morgan recently told a news agency reporter that when he first was told that his show Piers Morgan Live had been cancelled he felt as if Kirstie Alley and Wynonna Judd had both sat on him at the exact same time.
He said that he was totally shocked. Morgan remarked that just the week before a top ranking CNN official had told him that he was doing a great job and that he was being considered for a raise.
Morgan told Tapioca Swizzle with Tittle Tattle Tonight that he was told by an insider at CNN that the reason he was let go was because of his very strong British accent.
The source said that people living south of the Mason-Dixon line had a hell of a time trying to figure out what he was saying.
Morgan, who is still visibly depressed, thinks that part of the reason why he was let go was because he used to make fun of the way President Obama would pronounce words like antelope, Massachusetts, and perpendicular.
