HOLLYWOOD HILLS - The star of The Vampire Diaries Nina Dobrev appeared on The View and told Whoopi Goldberg that she had bet on the Denver Broncos to win the Super Bowl.

Nina said that she had made a bet with Russell Brand that if the Denver Broncos won he would pay her $10,000 and if the Seattle Seahawks won she would have to go out on a date with him.

As the world knows the Seahawks clobbered the Broncos 43-8 and Russell Brand is now grinning from ear to ear.

Nina told Whoopi that there is no way that she thought the Broncos would lose and she already had plans for the $10,000.

When she was asked where the two will go on their date, Dobrev blushed and said that they'll go see the new Kevin Hart movie Drive Along, and then they go to Brand's favorite hamburger diner, the Burger Bandit, and then they'll go to his home and he'll no doubt try to get to third base.

SIDENOTE: Nina pointed out that there is quite an age difference between the two. She is 25, and Russell is 38.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
