ENCINO, California - Highly reliable sources say that Katy Perry's ex-husband Russell Brand was spotted at the Encino Reservoir in the clutches of Kathy Griffin.
Brand and Griffin were parked in an isolated part of the famed reservior where they felt secure in the knowledge that no one would see them.
Friends of Russell's have stated that Brand who is 37, has lately had his ups and downs and still pines for his ex-girlfriend Kate Gosselin.
Russell says that he was there for Kate The Great after she was dumped by Steven Tyler, lead singer with Aerosmith and former American Idol judge.
He said that he went over to her home in Reading, Pennsylvania and played games with her eight kids, including Hide and Seek, Red Rover Red Rover, Not It, Musical Chairs, and Let's Eat A Bunch of Cookies and Not Tell Mom.
Griffin who at 52, is 15 years older than Rusty, as Gosselin called him, said that Brand texted her and revealed that he was feeling depressed. He asked her if he could borrow her shoulder.
The comedian known as the Red Cougar agreed but said that she had no idea that he also had his mind set on borrowing some of her other bodily parts.
SIDENOTE: Kathy stated that the rumor of her tongue wrestling with Russell is true, but she was quick to add that although he did get to second base he did not make it to third.
