Tribeca neighbors, Robert De Niro and Jay-Z allegedly had a heated verbal exchange at a recent birthday party for Leonardo DiCaprio, resulting in De Niro's bottom lip wobbling on several occasions and ending with him staring into space before asking fellow party goers if they knew P-Diddy's phone number as he now had a vacancy for a new "rapper" friend.

The so called tough guy actor, famed for playing hard man roles, apparently didn't appreciate Jay-Z failing to return his phone calls and confronted him during the bash.

In between sniffles and fighting back tears De Niro was heard to say "Don't you like me anymore? I thought you were my friend? Do you like Pacino better than me? Please be my friend. I will do anything, we can have a sleepover, you can play with my Barbie's, we can go to the movies together. I will check with my parents but maybe you could come to Disney with us? Please like me."

Sources reporting to the New York Post say that De Niro was equally upset that Jay-Z had told friends that he (De Niro) was a bit of a loser and had a crappy mobile phone and that "OMG - I just hate his shoes!"

The source explained, "Bob was sitting at a table, and when Jay-Z went over to say hello, De Niro told Jay that he never called him back." Telling the Brooklyn Nets owner, "If somebody calls you six times, you call them back. It doesn't matter who you are, that is just rude. I spent several sleepless nights crying into my pillow. I hate you, I hate you, I hate you. Sorry. I am sorry. Please love me."

Making matters more interesting is the report from the source that Jay Z has told friends that he prefers going to the Mall with Al Pacino and has invited not only Pacino but Christopher Walken and Joe Pesci to his next sleepover, where they will "eat pizza and talk about clothes and the other kids".

De Niro has not been invited.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
