The book "Fifty Shades of Gray" is the basis for the Amaretto and Staccato Monteverdi movie.

KALAMAZOO, Michigan - One of Tinsel Town's happiest couples is Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder who star in The Vampire Diaries.

The couple is on location in Kalamazoo, where they are presently filming the motion picture Fifty Shades of Gray.

The movie is set in Seattle, Washington, but is being filmed in Kalamazoo because it greatly resembles Seattle, and also due to the fact that the motion picture production company is receiving a tremendous tax break from the city of Kalamazoo.

Carolina Chipotle with Bedroom Pillow Talk spoke with the couple at a local Silly Sardine Seafood Restaurant where they were sharing a plate of Deep Fried Female Octupus Tentacles Smothered in Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer.

Miss Chipotle asked Ian and Nina how they liked filming in a small town as opposed to a big city such as Los Angeles, Houston, or Tijuana, Mexico.

Ian, 33, said that it was a welcome change and remarked that he was glad that the rush hour in Kalamazoo is nothing compared to the rush hour in L.A.

Nina, who is 23, pointed out that she really enjoys going shopping in the town's many quaint, historic, antique shops.

She glowed when she revealed that she has already purchased a pair of sandals that once belonged to Johnny Appleseed, a thimble that Betsy Ross received for her 21st birthday, and a horseshoe that came from Betty Narragansett, the horse that Paul Revere rode through Lexington, in 1775 during his infamous Midnight Ride.

Chipotle asked Nina about the talk coming out of the Left Coast that her and Ian were splitting up.

She shook her head and told her that the rumors were started by the supermarket tabloid Say What?.

Dobrev was quick to point out that she and Ian have never been happier.

Somerhalder added that Say What? just wants to replace the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart stories with stories about Nina and him.

SIDENOTE: Staccato and Amaretto Monteverdi who are directing Somerhalder and Dobrev in Fifty Shades of Gray both say that they have never seen a more loving couple than Ian and Nina with the one possible exception of George Clooney and Stacy "Mmmm-Mmmm" Keibler.

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
