Colin Salmon, an actor (we believe, were sorry we've done little to no fact checking on this one), who is appearing on Strictly Come Dancing has said training for the show is harder than "being in the Marines".
Back and to the Left news was always quite sure that "Strictly" contestants weren't required to serve a tour of duty in Afghanistan. But then again we might have missed that episode we haven't really kept up to date with Reality TV since they rejected our idea "Celebrity Animal Boxing".
"I've never trained in the Marines nor do I know anybody who has, but I've seen coverage of war zones. All soldiers seem to do is hide behind walls, I can do that. On Strictly I had to learn the Tango and the Foxtrot so I'm already well on the way with the armed forces lingo"
Back and to the Left news believe Colin might be onto something here. Who wouldn't watch a program where Z-list celebrities and ex-sportsmen fought poorly equipped Taliban militiamen?
It would be a better use of license payers money than keeping Jimmy Savile's dressing room warm was.
