Ned the horse was taken to horse-pital (sorry) last night after falling off TV presenter Lorraine Kelly.
Ned and Kelly were filming for a new reality show 'Celebrities On Horses'. Ned explained to the Racing Post "Lorraine came to pick me up from the stables straight from filming her Daybreak slot. It's well known in the industry that breakfast TV people need a pick me up first thing in the morning to keep them peaky, for some it's Red Bull, others a bit of 'sherbert' for Lorraine it's Irn Bru - but today she'd clearly had one too many".
After a bit of sugar and a nurse changing his bedclothes Ned continued "Of course the normal routine is for the celeb to jump on the horses, we do a few laps and jump a few fences before the judges critique us. But Lorraine insisted I jump on her - and LK is a tough chic to say no to. Sadly we never even made the first fence".
Doctors say Ned could be in for up to 6 weeks, making him doubtful for the Grand National and the Gold Cup. Surgeons could also advise Ned to retire from racing, in which case his agent could cash in on the publicity and film a new reality show with Katie Price, or wait till the end of the year for I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
