Los Angeles, Ca. - Apparently the Geico Gecko and Mr. Mayhem cannot go out drinking on the town together without causing a stir.
Police and medical units were called to 545 W. Hollywood yesterday evening when a passerby witnessed a scuffle nearby, followed by two gunshots. He called 9-1-1 immediately.
After a night of binge-drinking and dance-clubbing, the duo got into an argument which led to the Gecko being slightly injured by a ricochet fired from Mr Mayhem's Glock .45.
" I dunno what happened, " said the Gecko. "One minute I was taking a leak behind the dumpster, the next he was all over me shouting "SHAKY-SHAKY-SHAKY!. We scuffled around a bit, then the gun went off. That's all I know".
The police held Mr. Mayhem for two hours while they checked the registration and permit of the Glock.
According to the records, Mayhem does have a permit to carry the weapon.
Gecko was treated then released. Mayhem was released an hour later.
Witnesses told our reporter that the both of them were back on the street, drinking in Foxxxy's Topless Club 3 hours after the incident.
