'See what people will do for a Local Kebab House kebab.

The battered face of formulaic local man, Eccles Burnstone, features in a new advert for a local fast food outlet.

The 43 year-old was mugged by four people and also robbed of his freshly purchased kebab, the advert was an idea by Eccles himself, who sent it to the greasy food firm who jumped at the chance.

The tag line quotes Burnstone as saying: 'See what people will do for a Local Kebab House kebab.'

The kebab shop owner, Ali Bibye, said: 'He told us, 'Please use it to make an advertising campaign because I want to show that I'm courageous'. I thought, 'Wow, this guy has some guts, but then maybe he hadn't actually eaten any before it was stolen.'

Eccles says 'It is also a protestation against violence against ordinary kebab shop clients on their way home after the pub that we are all afraid of today.'

The funny story above is a satire or parody. It is entirely fictitious.
