Al Gore, former Vice President of the United States and Democratic Presidential Candidate for President, has filed a lawsuit in Federal Court for unpaid royalities. Gore is suing Microsoft, AOL, and several other computer companies for unpaid royalties from the usage of the internet (which he claims to have invented).
Gore is seeking 5% of all fees paid to any and all internet service providers (including dial-up, cable, and satellite providers). For damages, he seeks 10% of all fees paid to those providers prior to this year. "This will make me richer than Bill Gates, who just thought up ways to use my invention."
From his luxury yacht, Microsoft founder and successful nerd Bill Gates responded "Yeah, he invented the internet just like I slept with all of the cheerleaders in my high school."
"He's still trying to milk his fame ever since he lost the recount in Florida and made that bogus movie, An Inconvenient Half Truth."
As part of the lawsuit, Tipper Gore is also seeking to have warning labels put on all websites that she would consider inappropriate for children. Said Mrs. Gore, "there are just to many boobies and pee pees and cunnies out there and our impressionable young ones don't need to see these. It's worse than the lyrics to those nasty rap songs."
