The universal opinion of US government employees is that they basically do very little for a lot of money. Federal Immigration Dept executives are no exception.
This fact is one of the surprising factors in the raid on hundreds of hard working underpaid kosher meat factory workers. Bnai Brith the Jewish rights organization was outraged.
Spokesperson Moshe Abraham David Joshua Jesus Christ Almighty Holy Hell decried the mass arrest of so many Jewish rabboni: "Not since the days of the Holocaust have we seen government goons dragging kosher food blessing rabbis off to the hoosegow (Yiddish for Klinker). These holy men and women were working hard to bless the food for observant Jews across the country.
"Were they illegal? The Torah commands that we welcome the sojourner for we were strangers in a strange land.
"Were they under paid? The Torah says: Do not count coins above the pleasure of good honest work.
"Were they over worked? The Torah says: Pray as if everything depends on Ya Shem and work as if every thing depends on underpaid illegal immigrants until the overpaid loafers from the government come and arrest them because you forgot to pay your tribute to Caesar."
