The announcement was made by Herb. E. Ridesagayne, Vice president of market development for the US based manufacturer, at the company AGM. Ridesagayne explained the strategy.
"We are planning to launch three models which will offer different solutions for the growing Chav family. The first model to be launched will be the entry level Chavrolet Asbo, it is a basic four seater super mini based largely on the Matiz platform but with the addition of a huge tailpipe and with the rear seats removed to accomodate a pair of 1.9 megawatt sub woofers. Other features of this innovative model include a pre-disconnected odometer which guarantees excellent residual values, and a can holder specifically designed to take a standard 330ml can of special brew.
The first model will be unveiled to the press in the Kwik Save car park in Colchester at 11:30 pm on December 1st and is expected to go on sale just as soon as they can get the hub caps off.
