McDonald's plans to hire furloughed postal workers to work in their new restaurants.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The United States Post Office Department has just announced that they have worked out a deal with the number one fast food franchise in the world; McDonald's.

The USPO in an effort to bring in more revenue has agreed to put a McDonald's Restaurant inside every post office in the nation.

They plan to introduce the new partnership in television commercials which will feature Sofia Vergara star of Modern Family asking the viewer, "Hey, how about a book of stamps and a Big Mac?"

A spokesperson for the giant fast food chain stated that McDonald's is proud to be able to work together with the United States Post Office in an effort to help them get out of the financial mess that they got into during George Bush's last term in office.

McDonald's stated that the post office McDonald's employees will all come from the ranks of U.S. postal workers who have been laid off.

SIDENOTE: Plans call for the first Post Office McDonald's to begin operation in Laramie, Wyoming in early March. President Obama will be on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Music will be provided by Camel Carl & The Desert Rag Headz.
