A blonde and a redhead are seated next to each other in a bar as the 11:00 o'clock news comes on. The lead story shows a man standing on a twenty-first-floor ledge and threatening to jump, while those around
him are trying to dissuade him from doing so.
"I'll bet you $20 that he jumps," the redhead says.
"You're on! No way he'll jump," the blonde replies.
Moments later the man jumps to his death below.
"Okay, here's your $20" the blonde says.
"No, I can't take your money," says the redhead, "I saw the story on the 6:00 news so I already knew that he would jump.
"Keep the money," the blonde replies. "I saw him jump on the 6:00 evening news as well. I just didn't think he would be stupid enough to do it again."
