English Channel?

A teacher is testing her students' knowledge of geography with mixed results.
"Next question; Rose, where is Loch Ness?" asks the teacher.
Rose thinks for a second, and replies, "Scotland?"
"That's correct. The next question is for Patrick. Patrick, where is the English Channel?"
Patrick looks confused, and shrugs his shoulder, replying, "I dunno. My parents switched cable companies last week!"
