The disgraced former preacher and ex-Co-Op bank chairman has blamed religion for revelations about his sordid drug use.
Originally brought up as a dour Calvinist, Rev Flowers is convinced he only found God after switching to a new faith based on mind-altering chemicals.
"That's why I became a Crystal Methodist," he said.
