Why Is That? (The Runner's High)

Why is it that when you see something on a sign you have to test it out to see if it's true?

For instance, I could never get past a "Keep Off The Grass" sign without rolling a joint and sitting down and smoking a quick one.

Then there's the "Wet Paint". No way I can get by it without a red or blue or white fingertip.

Then there was that time at the health center on the treadmill when I could run pretty fast on it after months of building up. However, there was this one speed that stated "Runner's High".

I gave it one little push and the next thing I knew I was on the roof next door with plaster all over me.
