British sex education

An online discussion about sex education needing to promote the value of abstinence has become the latest victim of the 'horse scandal'.

One blogger wrote that because he and his wife 'did not trust teachers to do it according to our values and beliefs' they withdrew the kids from sex education lessons.

They then told them the facts of life themselves when the children reached puberty 'using horses as the example'.

One outraged response said: 'Filthy beasts! I'm amazed you were allowed to get away with it without Social Services raiding you!'
