The Israeli espionage agency has been caught with egg on its face after Sudanese police caught one of its stray avian 'drones' over Khartoum, capital of Sudan.
The mystery bird, first thought to be an Israeli Naturist Association 'peeping tom', was tagged with a solar-powered GPS device as it swooped over Kereinek in Darfur Province.
Sudanese military police impounded the rogue flyer following a tipioff that a lookalike had been arrested in Saudi Arabia earlier this year on suspicion of spying in a 'Zionist plot'.
A Mossad spokesperson commenting on the story said today that the Riyadh bird 'was just a harmless bald eagle' much like it's Khartoum doppelganger.
'Nonsense, you infidel scum!' a Saudi religious police source tweeted, 'this was no bald eagle, it was just thinning a bit.'
Both birds are being interrogated under strict Sharia Law rules.
