Bitzi, a natural blonde, suspected that she had lost an inch or so in height as she passed middle age.
She asked her best friend, Mitzi, also a natural blonde, to measure her. Finding that Bitzi was indeed shorter than in her youth, Mitzi told Bitzi that she had indeed lost a little height.
"Thanks," replied Bitzi, "I was sure I was shorter."
"Of course you are." replied Mitzi, "After all, you got married and settled down."
