David, Willie, and Murray were at a Tory Party Conference together and were sharing the Penthouse suite on the top of a 75 storey hotel.
After a long day of meetings in the town, they were shocked to hear that the lifts in their hotel had broken down and they would have to climb the 75 flights of stairs to get to their room.
David said to Willie and Murray, as leader I suggest we break the monotony of this unpleasant task by, concentrating on something interesting. Tell you what, I'll tell jokes for 25 flights, and Willie can sing songs for 25 flights, and Scott can tell stories the rest of the way up! They agreed.
At the 26th floor David stopped telling jokes and Willie began to sing.
At the 51st floor, Willie stopped singing and Murray began to tell stories.
"I will tell my saddest story first," he said.
"I just realised I left the Penthouse door key in the car!"
