I remember how hard it was to suddenly learn that there was no real Santa Claus, Easter Bunny or even The Tooth Fairy.
I bet it was even harder for the Mafia kids when they finally realized that there was no Horse's Head Fairy either.
Probably most of them switched to simply carrying a lucky horse's hoof in their pockets.
