Before taking his family out for the day, a man pulled into a gas station to put some air in his car tires, because he had noticed they were a bit flat.
"How much is that?" he asked the cashier
"Ten dollars."
"Ten dollars? That's expensive. It's only air!"
The cashier said, "Well, that's inflation for you."
