I opened Swift's latest completed project, a large performing arts studio extension in Skeeby North Yorkshire. I was guided around the building by Mick and Barbara Sutcliffe-Cole, before the ribbon-cutting ceremony and then speeches.

Not that they are related to me or my Barclay's Bank paid advisor millionaire wife, it's just that I thought I'd let the locals know that I'd not forgotten them for voting me in as their MP.

I stayed overnight overnight at the Dragon Hotel, much to the delight of my personal assistants Augustyn and Julian!
