I have told a meeting at the United Nations that the Security Council has so far failed to influence events in Syria.

Russia which has vetoed two UN resolutions condemning the violence by the government, said the Syrian situation was a cause of grave concern.

I shall consult further with my personal assistant Lucien tonight, and see what we can do!
