I arrived just last Tuesday, with my new butler, at Castel Gandolfo, the beautiful town south-east of Rome where I usually spends a period of summer rest.

But much of my time is going to be spent studying, praying and writing: I have started working on my book on Jesus again.

Ratzinger has already published two books on "Jesus of Nazareth" and is now preparing a third on Jesus' childhood.

It'll be a ripping yarn!
