Surely One should have have been presented first in the list of personalities?

The nearly four-hour affair - scripted by Danny Boyle, the Oscar-winning director - paid tribute to Great Britain's accomplishments in film, literature and science as part of a musical medley that put in context the culture that helped foster a sports-mad people.

It was not all a lecture, though. London also let down its guard, allowing Mr. Bean, the popular silent television and movie character, to punctuate his part with a rude bathroom sound effect ... Yes well....
