Tory MP Nick de Bois, speaking in the Commons in February:
"How can the Government justify consuming so much parliamentary time to push forward House of Lords reform at the expense of more pressing legislation?"

"At the expense of more pressing legislation?" Would that be the failing on the promise not to increase VAT? - Or planning a tax on hot take-away pasties? - Or increasing student fees after saying they wouldn't?

Oh dear, sounds like I'm doing a better job for the opposition than Ed Millipede is?
