I went along to a Nottingham Lib-Dem supporters event at the weekend.

Neither of them spoke to me!

I still can't honestly work out if I did the right thing in joining the Coalition with the Tories.

The money is great, yes. The expenses are limitless, yes. I get personal protection officers, yes. I'm upholding the traditions of old Etonian's, yes. And many of the previously snotty Conservative members of the Government now talk to me. And we are doing well in the voting intentions poll!

I wish I could ask advice from my Dutch mummy, Hermance van den Wall Bake now.
