For the love of me I cannot understand why people want to do this, as reported in the Russian press:

"Celebrations marking the 200th anniversary of the battle of Borodino are under way these days in Moscow.

The main event was the battle re-enactment that took place near a village called Borodino, about 70 miles away from Moscow.

There's still some historical dispute about who won the battle of Borodino.

On the one hand Kutuzov ordered his army to retreat and abandon Moscow.

On the other hand, this battle became the turning point in the war, and the French army was badly weakened for the first time."
