I was imprisoned under suspicion of being a Jacobin and a supporter of Robespierre.

A sad year for me, but it made me all the more determined to lead France to greatness.

How come nowadays no one imprisons Cameron for being a Royalist, or Miliband for being a communist?

I cannot understand this world today!
