Dear Diary,

We were sort of poor while I was growing up and mom bough a lot of our clothes at the Salvation Army, Goodwill, army surplus and Mission.

Then the kids at school would say "Look, he's wearing Shelby's old coat and I'd get the mocking and the laughter.

Or they laughed until I found this old revolver in a coat lining and kept it in my pocket and showed it around a bit.

After that it was "Anything funny about this Army coat, Butch?"

"No Sir."
