My confession. Practically nobody is interested in my Diary. I might as well face facts. I'm yesterday's news. I tagged along in the shadows of more able people and was only tolerated because I was always a reliable stooge. I have compromised my whole life by accepting a peerage and the only women who look at me have their noses in heaven and are even older than me. I am signing off to quietly contemplate on life.
