John Prescott - My Fake Diary
Wednesday, 4 August 2010
I thought I would read some fiction to get away from all the politics in my life. I enjoyed Dan Brown's 'The Da Vinci Code' - a really imaginative thriller so I decided on his latest 'The Lost Symbol'.
My goodness, it is really weird. Quite beyond belief to my way of thinking. He has the group controlling the CIA being led by a Japanese woman of less than five foot in height! I mean, get serious. The Yanks would never have a Japanese person, a woman to boot, in a position like that.
The plot, as I understand it, is about human consciousness and the power of the mind - or something like that. All I know is that power needs a bit of physical force behind it to have any impact. That's the power I'm conscious of.
