Well, my film career is at a "resting" stage, having just completed a "Moses" movie with Ridley Scot at the helm. I haven't given my real name for the studio casting people in case Mel Gibson looks me up and has me flagellated all through a fucking film again. In his defence, he didn't know it was really me I suppose.

I'm rehearsing for the York Christmas Plays starting next week. I'm keeping right out of the Middle East Crisis as whatever anybody does seems to make things worse. I asked Dad whether I could do a bit of "weather" and give everyone a white christmas, but he said no, because it trivialises miracles and he hasn't really done "weather" since the old testament days and is scared that intervention might cause plagues of frogs or blood to rain down.
