Time to share - unfortunate word - my relations - another unfortunate word - with my father.

These are taxing times (oh not another unfortunate word!) and I've decided to come clean.

Not much chance with those socialists at the 'Daily Mail' but I should make some headway with - um - somebody.

To this 'somebody' I plead my case. UM...

Trust (these words!) me. I know you think this is a PR exercise but it is the trans-parent David you see now and I can say with hand on my heart - um - that I can be seen through.
