David Cameron - My Fake Diary
Wednesday, 11 July 2012
I defended the government's cuts in the Army when I officially opened the Farnborough Air Show in Hampshire.
In my speech, I said the coalition had inherited "a defence budget that was falling apart at the seams". I then added that the UK defence budget would now be "sustainable".
I then popped into the Montagu Arms restaurant with my personal protection officers, political advisers, and a banker, to enjoy the unique charm of the country house hotel with its roaring log fires, decadent oak panelling, picturesque gardens, for Organic Salmon and Herb Ravioli, Garlic & Rosemary Velouté, cured Bresaola of Scotch Beef, Confit Tomatoes, Wild Rocket & Parmesan Crisp, Wild Mushroom Risotto.
Must remember to cut back on housing benefits when I get back to London!
