Lord Spicer - the former leader of the Conservative 1922 committee has published his political diaries.

He details the turmoil the party suffered before i became leader - we had Ian Duncan Smith and Michael Howard in quick succession.

At least i have steadied the ship - became Prime Minister and turned the country round. Now things are starting to go wrong - well i'm not a miracle worker am I?!
