Boris Johnson - My Fake Diary
Saturday, 19 May 2012
My Barrister wife Marina Wheeler, intervened in the row over protests in Parliament Square by suggesting that overnight camping may not be stopped by the courts.
We won a legal battle to evict the campers, who first arrived in the square more than a decade ago, last March. But they moved onto the pavement, the responsibility of Westminster council, before being moved again.
Now only three campaigners are in the square, where they remain in the open for 24 hours a day.
So a victory of some sort I suppose.
