I have completed the signing of Olivier Giroud from Montpellier for £12m. He impressed me last season when we scouted him and at Euro 2012.

He scored 21 goals last season as Montpellier won the French Ligue 1, ahead of big spending PSG.

While disappointed to see France lose to Spain on Saturday in the quarter-final, it is comforting to see the JUDAS Samir Nasri in trouble for swearing at journalists.
