DENVER, CO - Radio news crews in Denver tracked a large balloon like object as it drifted slowly to Earth on Larimer Street in Denver at noon today.
As police rushed to the scene to redirect traffic around the huge 'balloon', they noticed, according to my source, Captain Igpay, that the 'balloon' was actually a young boy who had been inflated with hydrogen during an experiment gone wrong.
It seems some boys had been playing around with chemicals in their basement, as part of 'chemistry club' activities.
Somehow the boy who got inflated with hydrogen had drunk some beverage concocted by the club that released a lot of hydrogen very suddenly as it reached his large intestine when it reacted with left over aspartame there.
The boy reached an altitude of 34,000 feet, where he died of oxygen deprivation, and then slowly drifted back to Earth as aspartame gas escaped from his posterior.
The boys were attempting to find a cure for flatulence dysfunction, according to Ben Artfay, a friend of the deceased.
