Topics: bacteria, MRSA

Thursday, 20 May 2010

Professor Takayuki Iwase of University Japan announced a highly innovative cure for the dreaded MRSA. Apparently some of the lucky ones amongst us have friendly bacteria in our noses which kicks MRSA butt.

"What we can do is isolate these bacteria and put them in a nasal spray. When it's inhaled, the good bacteria will drive out the bad."

"You can be the first to try it", laughed one of the reporters.

The reply was swift: "Tell you what Mr Big-Tough-Newspaper-Man, I tell you how to get rid of MRSA the man's way. Find yourself a donor with a real snotty nose and get him to stand on his head. Then get some ground pepper and sprinkle it into his nose with your head real close to him. As he sneezes take a real deep breath through your mouth and nose and catch as much of it as you can.

"I suppose you reporters think that we are just a scrawny little nerds. But over here in Japan we're men and we're here to get the job done.

"What about you - dickheads."
