image for Black Eyed Peas Blames Poor Performance on Acoustics at Cowboys Stadium
Some say a root canal would have been more entertaining

It's the day after the Super Bowl and just about everyone is talking about the Packers, the ads and the half-time show. While there was a huge media blitz regarding having one of hip hop's hottest groups to headline the show, the Black Eyed Peas, the show just didn't live up to the hype.

In fact, the act put on by the BEP was so lame that half the crowd decided it was a good time to make a beer run or take a bathroom break. The bathrooms were overflowing by fans trying to escape the screeching taking place on center field. "That chick is giving me a raging migraine," said one female fan as she waiting in a line that flowed from the bathrooms all the way back to the stadium seating. "Make it stop, please make it stop," she whined over the din.

While will.i.am did his best to carry the group, Fergie pulled in the other direction, botching every song attempted. Later, she would blame her poor performance on the acoustics in the relatively new Cowboys Stadium. Everyone agrees the special effects were a nice touch but the fact that they were added to try and jazz up a lackluster performance of yesterday's hits wasn't lost on the crowd.

Back in their bus, Fergie admitted she was side-tracked and claims that she, herself, was suffering from a migraine. I decided to wear some of that Avon perfume they have me hawking, and I must have sprayed too much on right before the show. My head was throbbing and then with all those strobe lights and Tron special effects, it's a wonder I didn't pass out."

Fans are forgiving and say that regardless of how awful the Black Eyed Peas sounded, it won't keep them for continuing to spend every last penny they have to buy tickets to the next event. One fan, however did ask for one thing. "Please, please guys, get some new material?"
