A French couple who work in a French zoo (it's logical I suppose), have decided to adopt a gorilla which they have bought up from within the zoo compound.
Now, after adoption, the gorilla named Digit works in the daytime entertaining the crowds and in the evening goes "a la Maison" with her new mum and dad.
There are a few problems having a fully grown gorilla "a la maison" as the parents admitted. Digit loves sleeping between the couple and when they want to make love she loves to join in. After all, two's company, but three's even better! (If you like gorillas, that is.)
As if that wasn't bad enough, digit never lets her parents know when she has to go to the loo. Gorilla poo and puddles of urine are no small feat, stinky, winky!
There are some positive aspects of having a gorilla as an adopted child though; no problems with burglars, cold call salesmen, unwelcome in-laws and trick or treat hoodlums at Halloween.
The parents, Pierre and Elianne, love their new child because they remained childless and having Digit is a perfect substitute especially because they missed going to the zoo with their children and now it's not a problem any more - she lives there!
