In order to avoid capture from the rebels who have been harassing him for the past two months, the infamous dictator, Col Gaddafi has resorted to the demotion to the rank of corporal.
Gaddafi told In Seine News: "I have been thinking about this for some time and now that time has come! I am known the world over as a Colonel so the obvious place to hide will be somewhere in the ranks and that is why I chose to hide in a place where no one would have thought to look."
"It has always been at the back of my mind of what happened to my friend Saddam Hussein, so I have shaved off my beard and moustache, put all my medals on eBay, and sold my Mercedes to Mustafa's Motors (Benghazi) Ltd. No one would guess that it was me! I even ride everywhere by camel which is quite an enjoyable experience!"
