Cairo, Egypt - President Mubarak of Egypt appeared on state television this evening promising to capture the hearts and minds of protestors aligned against him with an offer of free cheese and crackers.
With a plate full of "delicious cheese and crackers" stacked in the shape of a pyramid on his desk beside him, Mubarak then broke into a song, singing "If I were a carpenter - and you were my lady - would you marry me anyways - would you have my baby?"
After finishing singing Mubarak produced a mouse trap with a dead mouse. "You can have the cheese or crackers, or you can join the mouse - take your pick."
Word from the street is that the protestors were not amused.
