Taking advantage of social unrest sweeping the nation thieves in Cairo made off with two of Egypt's most famous landmarks yesterday, the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx.
How the thieves absconded with the two colossal landmarks in broad daylight has astonished Egyptians and puzzled investigators. President Mubarak claims the Muslim Brotherhood may have pulled the caper however David Copperfield and Chris Angel's names have been listed as potential suspects as well.
Citizens have been asked to report any signs of the missing landmarks to police immediately.
Fearing lost revenue from tourism president Mubarak has ordered full size replicas to be made by Ali Babba's Genuine Replica Souvenir Hut until the two wonders of the world are recovered.
Mubarak has also increased border security pat downs at airports for any passengers having large triangular bulges in their clothing.
