In a very strange turn of events, North Korean leader, Kim Jong-il ordered his military to turn nuclear weapons on themselves. Jong-il, widely thought to be a bit of a loose cannon by most other countries. His erratic behavior has put the fear into his neighboring South Korea.
Jong-il has said in the past he would not take any grief from any other countries. This unrepresented action is apparently in retaliation to The United States holding war games in the ocean off Korean territory.
"I'll blow my whole country off the map if need be, I'm mad as a hatter". said Jong-il in a conference with NATO representatives. Government officials are convinced he'll do it.
"Jong-il has always been a bit off center, said one official who wanted to remain anonymous, the guy just wants to blow shit up".
The fact that it's his own countrymen he's killing doesn't seem to faze Jong-il, "take one step further towards my country I'll kill us all. I'm not kidding".
Diplomats and Heads of State are totally confused by this approach, they're not quite sure what to do. Generally countries attack each other they don't attack themselves. It's like fighting a gut that punches himself in the face. What do you do?
