Washington: A US report that North Korea has built a new nuclear facility is apparently flawed. A re-examination of the report suggests rather, a giant doughnut factory is in place. Pyongyang's Dear Leader, Kim Jong-Il, is known as a huge doughnut eater.
The top US military officer, Mike Mullen, said North Korea was "continuing on a baffling path, which was hard to follow"
Centrifuges which were first suspected for enriching uranium; have proved to be simply for mixing doughnut batter and icing sugar.
Seoul and Washington have been on heightened alert since the sinking of a South Korean warship back in March, had the plant been proved as Nuclear, it would have been the icing on the cake.
The Doughnut factory lies 100 km north of the capital Pyongyang and a special Doughnut highway has been constructed so the great leader never has to face traffic delays of his constant supply of Doughnuts.
