A fat cat has sat on a mat with a rat, a bat and a twat called Pat in a wat in Korat, north-eastern Thailand.
They are so infinitesimally small, that it hardly seems worth mentioning the gnat that was also present.
The cat, known locally as Tabby, went into the wat (temple) in the town of Korat - approximately 156.56 miles north-east of the capital, Bangkok - on Saturday. It plonked itself down on a rattan mat beside the assorted vermin and an obese and annoying American tourist, Patrick, who was visiting the site whilst on 'vacation'.
Moys Kenwood, a long-time Bangkok resident who heard of the story on a bus, said:
"These mundane situations occur with dull regularity in Thailand. At least nobody was wearing a hat."
Earlier reports that a fat cat had sat, and shat, upon Matt Hatt, the up-and-coming spoof writer, were greatly exaggerated.
